To support this journey, we’re now looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team in Oslo.

Your mission 🚀

As our Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of Finago Office, one of our core products. You will take ownership of design decisions, contribute to a modern and user-centred product vision, and help ensure our solutions meet the needs of Nordic accounting professionals.

In this role, you will also contribute to improving the overall design maturity in Norway, supporting and guiding the designers based in Oslo. You will help align priorities, foster effective collaboration, and strengthen the local design culture as the team evolves.

As the role develops, there is an opportunity to expand into a Design Lead or Design Manager position in the near future, depending on your interests and experience. Previous experience as a manager or team lead is considered a plus, and we value candidates who enjoy mentoring, sparring on design decisions, and contributing to the professional growth of their colleagues.

Your key tasks and responsibilities

• Interface Design: Create intuitive, accessible, and visually coherent UI solutions using our Design System, while actively contributing to its development and evolution.
• Prototyping: Build and refine prototypes in Figma to explore ideas, validate concepts, and clearly communicate solutions with development teams.
• User Research & Discovery: Engage with users and internal experts to understand workflows, needs, and pain points, and help strengthen our insight-driven design practices.
• Design Leadership in Norway: Support, guide, and collaborate closely with designers in Oslo to ensure alignment, quality, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Ready to make an impact? 💥

We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer ready to shape the future of our business software. To succeed in this position, you bring:

• Fluency in English and Norwegian
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX and digital product design
• Proven experience designing B2B SaaS products, including responsive web solutions
• Strong business understanding and a continuous-development mindset
• A portfolio showcasing both design outcomes and design process
• Experience with tools such as Figma, Storybook, Maze, Miro, or similar
• Experience working with agile methods and tools like Jira or equivalents
• Solid understanding of user-centred design, usability best practices, and basic accessible web design
• Experience conducting usability testing and working with user research methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork

Nice to have:

• Experience as a manager or team lead
• Domain knowledge in accounting, invoicing, or related business areas
